About Epiphany

Epiphany, also known as Three Kings Day or the Feast of the Epiphany, is observed on January 6 and marks the end of the Twelve Days of Christmas. In Western Christianity, it commemorates the visit of the Magi to the baby Jesus. In Eastern Orthodox traditions, it celebrates Jesus's baptism.

Epiphany Traditions

In many Latin American and Spanish-speaking countries, Epiphany (Día de Reyes) is when children traditionally receive gifts, rather than on Christmas Day. In France, a special cake called the galette des rois is served.
